These photographs are the record of a trip I made to Cuba in 2002, under the auspices of the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation.  There is also an essay recording my thoughts about the beauty of the place and the difficult relationship that makes it difficult for people from the United States and Cuba to fully know and understand each other.
